Meet the featured artist, enjoy catering by Hot Tomatoes and get an early start on the "First Thursday Downtown Gallery Experience".  CAP artist receptions are from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

Community Artist Program features Linda Pampinella
On display March 2nd-March 27th. Reception: Thursday, March 5th, from 3:30-5:00
Our second anniversary will be celebrated exhibiting Linda Pampinella's beautiful photography. Her award winning artwork captures stunning texture and the play of light in natural settings and shapes. Linda draws inspiration from the majestic scenery all around us in the Southwest. Meet her and discuss her photography at the artist reception held in her honor while enjoying light snacks.

Meet the Beetles
Tuesday, March 17th, from 6:00pm-7:00pm
The Colorado State Forest Service offers a presentation on the Spruce Beetle epidemic and it's impact on Colorado forests. The presentation will also be live streamed on YouTube.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife: Planning for the Future
Wednesday, March 18th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm
The public is invited to a "Planning for the Future" meeting with representatives of Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Children's Spring Marshmallow Animals & Natural Egg Dye Class
Monday, March 23rd, from 4:00pm-5:00pm
Durango Natural Foods Co-op will host a kid's day of spring crafts with Co-op deli chef Charis Rose. The event is for kids age 6 and up, but all ages are welcome if accompanied by a parent. $5 in advance, $7 day of event.

The Blues Hall of Fame Tour
Tuesday, March 24th, 7:30pm
Charlie Musselwhite and his band perform with an individual and collaborative performance from the legendary John Hammond.

Exhibit: Purple Cats & Green Skies
Opening Reception: Friday, March 27th, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Show runs through May 2nd
A group show with Juantia Ainsley, Melanie Yazzie, Natalia Goldberg & Rodney Hatfield. Each one of these artists employs a free and childlike quality in their work along with a sense of sophisticated naivete and disregard of old expectations that visual art be representational and realistic.

"Cocktails with the Conductor": A Music in the Mountains Benefit & Auction

Kickoff to the 29th festival season! Bid on the live auction of Festival Musician ensemble packages and host your own private party this summer with world-renowned musicians. Taste signature martinis and a fabulous selctions of wines paired with hors d'ouevres.
