Join us every First Thursday of the month for our local artist reception.
Meet the featured artist, enjoy catering by Hot Tomatoes and get an early start on the "First Thursday Downtown Gallery Experience".  CAP artist receptions are from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

Chandler Wigton shows "The City of Kyzyl"
Opening Reception: Friday, January 9th from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Show runs until February 28th
New work combining painting, drawing, photography, and collage, that explores one quantum physicist's dream of visiting a remote and isolated Siberian Shangri-la.

Jan Heyl: "Pastel Interpretations of the Southwest & Beyond"
Reception- Thursday, February 5th from 3:30 - 5:00 Show runs from February 2nd -27th
Pastels have provided an avenue of expression for Jan that is immediate and flexible. Painting with pastels allows Jan to slow down and more closely observe her environment, especially the way in which light influences color. Come meet Jan at our artist reception and enjoy the artwork she has created.

7th Annual Homegrown Food Retreat
Saturday, February 28th from 8:30am-1:30pm

The play "Other Desert Cities"

Community Artist Program features Linda Pampinella
On display March 2nd-March 27th. Reception: Thursday, March 5th, from 3:30-5:00
Our second anniversary will be celebrated exhibiting Linda Pampinella's beautiful photography. Her award winning artwork captures stunning texture and the play of light in natural settings and shapes. Linda draws inspiration from the majestic scenery all around us in the Southwest. Meet her and discuss her photography at the artist reception held in her honor while enjoying light snacks.

Green Business Roundtable: New Science on Local Climate Change
Wednesday, March 11th at 12:00pm
In a regional partnership that brings together the best in climate science, ecology, and planning, we are exploring strategies to adapt to our changing climate. We will share our findings with you and explore a range of options as future climate scenarios present new chapters for the region.
